Meet The Coach

Josh Burgess is a recent graduate of Southern Adventist University with a bachelor's degree in finance. He has played varsity-level basketball for 3 of 4 years at Georgia Cumberland Academy, where he received the MVP trophy his senior year. Since then, he has competed in Southern’s basketball intramural program, playing 2 years in the “A-league”, Southern’s highest level. His experience in basketball has led him to develop a love and passion for playing and teaching the game of basketball. He has seen many incredible athletes who share the same love of basketball go through programs without providing any commitment or excitement for their students. This has fueled his desire to help inspire, teach, and grow students' basketball skills, with the eventual goal of becoming a full-time basketball coach.
